Without being too personal, are you SURE you aren't pregnant? Dieting at this stage if you ARE could cause all sorts of problems....worth checking?Good Enough Club member number 27(2) AND I got me a stalkee!

Lunch: Tuna sandwich ( 2 x wholemeal bread, Extra low fat mayo, 1/2 can tuna and cucumber) Mullerlight yoghurt and a satsuma
Dinner: Chicken or fish with fresh veg and a small jacket potato ( with extra light flora)
I dont snack between meals. I have cut out sweets/chocolate.
My Calorie intake is approx 1400-1500 a day. I dont know what else i can do. I have tried weightwatchers/slimming world and lost the grand total of 6lb over nearly 18 months (that was nearly 2 years ago). I did try the atkins and lost 5 lb in one week... then the whole lot went straight back on over the next 4 weeks, despite sticking with the plan religiously
Hmmm. If that is a typical day then that's not bad. You could try cutting the jacket out of dinner replacing with a bit of salad. Maybe have some more fruit to fill up during the day.
What do you drink? Much alcohol?0 -
Can you have a new panel made by a dressmaker?as the dress has a laced up back then the new panel would hardly be seen,
or can the panel be let out a bit if it has big seams as you might get an extra 2 cms that way and the edges could be overcast for neatness by someone with an overlocker.
My Daughter's dress bodice was very ornate but the fill in panel under the lacing was plain.
Hope you solve your problem.0 -
Fruit is full of sugar. Natural sugar granted, but sugar nonetheless, so I wouldn't advice upping your intake of that tbh. I'm having trouble understanding how you can put weight on if you stick to the diet religiously. My guess is that you may have hidden or extra calories that you're just not seeing maybe?
Edit: Also..low fat and extra low fat foodstuffs usually have high levels of sugar and/or sweetener in an effort to improve taste.
Go back to Atkins and eat high fat everything for 6 weeks.Herman - MP for all!

Try keeping a food diary. When asked to recall what they eat, most people underestimate, sometimes drastically. If that is the amount you are really eating consistently then you would be losing weight, bar any health problems.0

Honestly... i eat nothing else. I drink sugar free squash throughout the day ( approx 1 1/2 litres). I occasionaly have a cup of tea mid morning, no sugar and with skimmed milk. I drink no alcohol whatsoever.... last time i drank alcohol was Feb 2008... im not teetotal, just dont drink!
My doctor hasnt been very helpful when i went to him... as far as he was concerned, my thyroid was normal so there wasnt a problem. He said '' if you run a marathon, you will lose weight''
What sort of an answer is that?Getting Married Sat Aug 22nd 2009...... so excited!!

from your typical days diet, if you are going to continue eating carbs then.
breakfast: one weetabix
lunch: tuna salad without bread - you could have so much salad or veg you would be full and no need for yogurt or fruit
dinner: get rid of the jacket as starch and the butter / marg isn't helping. how do you cook the chicken or fish?
are your portions too big? are you cooking for two and having the same as oh?
are you exercising at all? married to the man of my dreams! 9-08-09

Seriously go running, google a couch to 5k beginners running schedule. I've just started one and its hard work but im losing weight already and i havent changed what i eat. im drinking a carlsberg as i type!
no other excercise burns calories like running does. After a couple of weeks it gets easier honestly!
I think any panels added to your dress will look obvious and you really need to get back to the weight you were before.
You can do it if you put your mind to it. And now you have something to aim for it will spur you on.
Even if you cut back on all the calories, if you're just sitting about all day you'll still be eating more than you're burning off!!
PS> This is my running plan...
