I got one of these energy monitors a while back. I'm changing my electricity tariff. Does any1 know how to reset this device? I can't find my manual anywhere.
My advice has no basis more reliable than my own meandering experience.

    brilliant freebie!

question on the plug the standby saver...

the way i see it, the saver complete cuts the electricity to the tv, dvd, vcr once set up and you press standby...

so when i want to turn off the tv completely, is it better to just press standby on the remote rather than the actual switch on the tv? this way i can turn off the dvd and vcr at the same time and save even more power? if i just the turn tv off from the front, the dvd and vcr are still on.

might be a bit of a flaw here, but my dvd used to be on standby all the time. now it actually switches from standby to on everytime i turn the tv on. now which uses more electricity.
    - the dvd player constantly on standby (using electricity)?
    - the dvd player turned ON when tv is ON, and dvd player completely OFF when tv is completely OFF?

if i watch aload of tv BUT do not use the dvd player which isn't on standby, what costs more in the long term.

hope i haven't confused anyone here.

Got mine too - am addicted to watching it tick!

CP James - just click on the set button for about 10 seconds then you if you arrow up and down you will see a tariff 1 - it is set at .14p - just change that by going up and down.

    Hope this helps

    Thanks to OP!

Press and hold the UP and DOWN buttons while switching on the power to the display it says in my manual.. Can't say if that works as I haven't used mine yet.
