    Received mine 2day.
    Just set it up and is now watching it like a hawk (0.96 at the moment) lol
    Will set up the standby thing at the weekend.
    What a great freebie. Thanks to poster and thanks to british gas...
    Shame that EDF have taken over my supplies from the 6th oct the day i get this great freebie.
    Noticed that the radio times had a ad for a free standby thingy , but no energy monitor.

    just wondered . i live in a third floor flat and the meter is on the bottom floor . will it still work for me ??

    it should work if you attatch it to the wire coming in to your fuse box inside your flat. thats where mine is and it seems to be working fine
  • thanks this worked for me- it was really straight forward, you need to know your national insurance number as a reference number so look it out beforehand! wooo whoo!:j
