Afternoon All!
Am completing on my first ever house next week and trying to do some research about internet suppliers. Also, i am a teacher so i'm pretty much constantly online during the evening doing work.
Have been on Sam Knows and believe i should be able to get Plusnet and some good prices. However, i have a few questions hoped someone might know!
Here goes:
1) I'm assuming the telephone line will have previously been BT [the property had been rented out about 6mnths ago now]. Will i need to activate the line with BT or just phone Plusnet and place my order with them?
2) Do the prices quoted by Plusnet include line rental or would i have to factor this in, on top of the prices on their website?
3) Is Plusnet a good company? Any opinions or guidance?!
Thanks in advance.

If your line is "stopped" you can use any of the companies that can switch them on (post office/phone co-op/bt etc).
If you use bt you will be tied to a minimum 12 month contract.
Likewise if your line has been disconnected you can use any company to do the connection, thereby avoiding the BT contract if you don't want one.
Plusnet BB prices don't include line rental. They charge £10.95 extra if you want line rental from them.
They are owned by BT. Checkout their users opinions at thinkbroadband.0
