I signed up to Talk Talk using the link in Martins email, it says 18 month contract quite clearly.
However i have received the paperwork today and it says 24 month contract.
I have phoned up TT and they have confirmed 18 months and noted it on my account and its a printing error , however i suggest others do the same just to be sure

When I was considering switching to Talk Talk last week I was told the contract was for 24 mths. I pointed out that their website and the leaflet I had been sent both stated the contract period was 18 mths. I was told that it had changed at the end of June. I said that the fact that they had not changed their website did not inspire much confidence in their service.I signed up to Talk Talk using the link in Martins email, it says 18 month contract quite clearly.

I thought it was only 24months if you were requiring them to fit a new phone line.0

Exactly same thing happened to me. I actually checked in store when i signed up. The assistant said the 24 month contracts where for contracts where customers take out a laptop deal aswell. The contract i signed was for 18 months. The printed receipt he gave me as i left the shop said 24 months but i didnt notice til after. The mailshot they sent me today says 24 months. I phoned and checked and after about a week of "going through security" i finally got the customer service rep to understand what i was on about. He said i must be reading a letter from another broadband company because talktalk didnt do 24 months contracts!! After another 5 minutes of describing the leaflet i was reading "It says talktalk, its pink and i got through to you by phoning the number printed on it" the bloke went off and checked and said YES they do have 24 month contracts, but mine was only 18 months. I got him to put a note on my file aswell, just to be on the safe side. This is my 2nd contract with talktalk in 4 months, as my 1st one went missing off their system, disappeared into thin air. Doesnt exactly inspire confidence does it??:rolleyes:0
