Hello Twitty - how's stuff?

DD2's prom this evening, she's all bouncy and giggly. I've just cut and dried her hair, done a manicure and pedicure and she's been smoothered in glittery body glitter....she's having a "choccy" break to calm the excitement. They're off for dinner then back to school for a disco in stretch limos - will be lovely to see them all dressed up (even if I don't agree with proms for 11 year olds)

DH has a dose of the grumps, DD1 is doing her typical "I'm going to be really annoying cos all the attention isn't on me for a change"......fun!

phewwwwwwwwwwwwww.........all finished. It was more work than I thought. Emailed about 6 or 7 documents to work, I'll print them off in one of the classrooms before Ihand it in on Monday - I use inks and needles to fill my cartridges and I've ended up with 'dirt brown' as the only colour where i've just shoved any colour ink in any hole :rotfl:

proms for 11 year olds?? Blimey -what will they all be wanting at 16 if it's all this kind of stuff now?!

I blame High School bleedin' Musical for this daft prom malarkey. I've never seen High School bleedin' Musical or any of it's after thoughts but I get the feeling that being American, schmaltzy and glittery is part of it all :rolleyes:

I'm quite shocked. Once is a big decision for anyone (unless it has been done deliberately), twice is either very poor luck, not learning or not caring..........but 4 times?!
