happy saturday everyone. Just checking in before I take dd to glasgow to catch the bus for her weeks holiday in the lake district. Not going to be a cheap day.
Am also trying to resist the urge to buy a new lawnmower. Mine blew up last week and was out in the garden earlier and grass already getting really long. Argos seem to have a v decent one reduced from £150 to £50 so thinking about that. Dont really have the money but it is needed.
- [STRIKE]do scratchies[/STRIKE] only 10p away now !
- check banking
- [STRIKE]if i buy lawnmower- be sensible with price[/STRIKE]
£75. Got a rotary mower which suits my bumpy and large lawn and a cordless strimmer reduced from £150. Been out to cut the grass and I absolutely love it as it got done in half the time and cut so much better than the old flymo but am going to totally regret the spends next week
- [STRIKE]update sig and enter all receipts for this month into spreadsheet[/STRIKE]
- print debt letters
- ironing
- clear up [STRIKE]kitchen[/STRIKE], lounge and bathroom
- [STRIKE]chill out tonight as have a whole week on my own.[/STRIKE] need to plan how to make best use of it
catch up later guys. Have a great day

What's the 101 list mentioned by Candy and My Mess?
I love lists!!
Hi,
It is a list of 101 things that I want to achieve in 1001 days, some examples are have a laugh every day, qualify as a book-keeper, read 101 books, practice yoga, learn a language etc.
I felt a bit silly making up the list, but it is worth it when I achieve something and cross it off. There is a website which will give you the date in 1001 days (google it for the address)
Hope this encourages you to do a list of your own.

Hi folks, went camping last night and DS woke us all up at 5.30, so no sleep in here. Bit of decluttering and cleaning for me too. Today I will
- package my ebay parcels
- list a few more things
- I have taken 4 bin bags to the dump, mainly general household rubbish the bin men wont take!
-tidy up the kitchen
- tidy up the living room
- tidy the understairs cupboard where some more ebay items might be hiding, or charity shop, or make space to hide other things we need
- wash one of my laundry baskets that has been in the garden a while and start using it again
-take DS out somewhere, maybe the park or maybe the swimming pool, if swimming pool, use my discount pass
- night in tonight, will either read my book or watch a DVD0 -

I don't know whether this would be suitable, but I am sure there is a Travelodge in Newport and I am sure they have £29 rooms (the difference could be food and petrol)

Hi all,
I haven't done that much DFW today - however I have been very restrained!!!
1) It has been absolutely peeing down all day, which put a kibosh on our plans as it is Bournemouth's annual Gay Pride festival and we were off to see the carnival - but it was much too wet.
2) We all went for lunch at the pub instead and paid with my survey Luncheon Vouchers.
3) I took B to the sales for abosolutely hours and hours...and hours. 13 year old girls have loads of shopping stamina. She bought lots of things with her neverending birthday money. And I bought some clearance things with my Boots points. But I could have bought a lot more!!!
4) SC x 10p
5) Watched Valkyrie on DVD and Michael McIntryre - there was a comedian on who we have seen live before so that was good.
6) Off to watch Sean Locke on C4+1 now, doing a set we saw live so that will be interesting too! Cheaper on TV though!
I used to do things - not just watch them on the telly! Oh well,
See you tomorrow,
L x0 -
I did everything on my list for yesterday other than list more stuff on ebay, I decided it was saturday and should chill a bit.
Today I think OH is taking DS out for a few hours so I can get stuff done, I will
- continue to tidy the house
- continue to ebay
- continue to time plan the summer hols
- make something nice for dinner
- package rest of my ebay up
Will report back later on how I have done0 -
