I've been satisfied with everything that I've ordered from AF: Diet Coke with vitamins, the satay kit, Ryvita, Jordan's Luxury Fruit Bars, Cadbury's chocolate cake mix, Smash, Polish Sour Soup, tomato cous cous (which I'm eating right now, in fact) and porridge.

I shared some of my loot with my neighbour and his only comment was that he found the Jordan fruit bars a bit sweet to his tastes. I took some into work to supplement the terrible biscuits they give us in meetings and there were no complaints whatsoever!

I've been particularly happy to be able to buy diet Coke so cheaply - it beats buying it at work at £1 per bottle.

The Polish Sour Soup is a bit odd - it tastes like the usual dried packet soup with an unusual sour aftertaste. I think that it's more a question of getting used to it than anything else.

I was disappointed that the Cadbury's mix seems to have been discontinued, as I would have liked to have ordered a few more boxes to have on hand for a quick pudding.

I will definitely be ordering the honey the next time - and thanks to whoever said that 'asal' is the Persian word for honey as I can add this to my list of foreign words!

One thing I'm looking forward to in my just-placed order is the marzipan stollen, as this is a favourite treat. Erm, no. I didn't say that. I meant that I'll bet that those marzipan stollen are just horrible and no one else would ever want to order them. ;)

There are now some different juices and tip top dessert topping on there- 4 tins for £1.
Updated my list - too many to get all info right now and so many can't remember which was new today and which been on before so just bunged em all on.

simca the honey is back on AF today in case you haven't spotted it yet

Thanks, tricki1. I wonder if I can update my order!
  • Mistymaid - you'd also need lots of packets as there is not much in each - I think it's just 14g - which is fine for munching on but you'd need a truck load to make a pie ;). They are nice to eat though. I prefer the apple crisps to the juicies but then I'm not mad keen on raisins.

might be able to if you email them quickly, but best check the help page of google checkout to see what it says about replacing items- or ring and ask if possible.

Edit: this is what the help section says: In general, it is not possible to modify orders after they are placed. In addition, Google cannot modify orders on the seller's behalf. To request an order change, contact the seller directly.
So would have to contact AF

Both types of Kohinoor rice treats are very nice.
    Applepie says they are nice!
I read some good reviews of them when I googled it- they are ready cooked I believe.

i made a birds chocolate trifle a few weeks back with the kids (from asda).. YUK! never again.. it was horrid, chocolate mousse at the bottom followed by a rank chocolate custard and then the birds topping.. i much prefer the normal trifle's but thats just my opinion.. oh an the kids, they didnt like it either and for a 3 & 5 yr old it must be bad lol
It only seems kinky the first time.. :A
