And is any potential employer going to take that into account? Your grades have to stand up on their own to be of merit.

my conclusions were the results which the uni are now using to reduce costs and carbon with the Carbon Trust. This offers both a environmental and an economic basis. Involved was measuring electricity and paper use in Uni academic and admin departments and different methods were appropriate to different departments. Included was the planning of centralised printing systems working with information tech, head of departments and the Uni energy management department
:confused::confused::confused: you said use more email and print less didn't you? There are words here but I'm not sure these words are justifying other people going out to work to pay to care for your kids whilst you write them......

My job description clearly stated 2.1 degree minimum + MSc. I think a lot of employers care about the class. My dad hires 2 - 10 people a year, and if they have a third he doesn't even read the rest of the application as him and his assistant manager take it as a clear sign they simply didn't put the effort in. He views OU students most highly, as he says these are usually the people who fought hard for their education while working, raising families and generally getting on with life. Unless you are going into a career with a huge shortage, degree class matters.
