If you don't ask you won't get

... but in your case I feel you probably wont get even if you do ask.

I wouldn't have thought so to be honest, you usually aren't able to get a refund on a voucher from a specific store, so I think the chances of getting one from eBay is likely to be quite minimal. :undecided

If I was the vendor I would not give a refund for this.
  • I emailed the seller yesterday and explained 3 stores are booked but they haven't replied.. I'm not very happy!

It's not a sellers responsibility to check appointment availability at the stores within a reasonable distance of where each person bidding lives. Perhaps you could have checked before bidding. Surely they're not booked up forever and a day? There must be an appointment some time. If not, I'm retraining as a hairdresser! Enjoy your new hair do when you get it sorted! ;o) I did wonder if this was a jokey post actually, still, I've typed the reply so I'll put in my two penneth anyway!

Ever wondered why they were selling the voucher in the first place?? Perhaps it was because all their local salons were fully booked...

You must be able to get some sort of appointment at some point??

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)
  • It was the voucher from the newpaper and is only valid for a little while that is why i cant use it

Does anyone else ever look at a thread and wonder if there are more bridges about these days?

If I was the seller and I got such a ridiculous request I would use all the words that aren't allowed on this forum. And then send a icily polite message to tell the buyer that they should have checked before bidding.
This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine

I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine. :p
