I am being threatened by a buyer

I sell a food product on ebay and have sold loads and loads. Usually have a few questions a week but no hassle . This time after a question clarifying the amount in the item, I sold a batch. Now the buyer is stating that if I don't refund her £6 she will leave negative feedback. I have replied that she can sent it back for a full refund( waste of my money as they will have to go in the bin ) and that I will not be blackmailed. She says the item was for her daughter and that it was her daughter who sent the question and she hadn't read the answer- but it was to her account. I wish she would go through the proper paypal channel even though I won't win. Is it a sign of the times when buyers treat you as a fool and they bully you in to a refund. Looking at her feedback she does this a lot but off course no seller can leave a negative which she knows. It leaves a bad taste and puts you off selling on ebay.

If she does neg you you may be able to get it removed due to feedback extortion if you send a copy of the email to ebay. Stick to your guns if she returns it she gets a refund which is entirely reasonale she is probably trying to keep the product and get a refund.
I hope youve added her to your blocked bidders list. If you do get a neg and unable to remove it just respond in a calm manner saying something like'Full refund offered on return of product'. Overall it shouldnt effect anything people reading it will see a lcalm response and in a few months it will just be another dot in cyberspace0 -
First of all, report her for feedback extortion, she can't do that. Also let her know that any threat she makes to you is illegal. I think all you can do is offer a refund, IF she sends the item back. If she's going to be like this then you may risk a neg anyway, but if you just respond to it in a calm fashion then I doubt it will put any future buyers off - ppl will see that she's the idiot here trying to abuse the system and move on.0

Might be against EBay rules but hardly illegal.
Stick to your guns OP. Good luck.0 -
Lol, actually yes, to threaten anyone is illegal.0

Cant see the police breaking down her door anywhen soon0 -
Perhaps not, but apparently the uninformed don't know that fact anyway, so it may be worth pointing that out within his response.0

...Now the buyer is stating that if I don't refund her £6 she will leave negative feedback. ...
Why does the buyer want a refund? Is this a the total price of the lot sold?
If it is, you need to explain she needs to return the item first (as you have).
If not, it's feedback extortion:

To threaten to leave neg' feedback is not illegal and as there is no threat of violence nothing illegal has taken place.Terms & Conditions Apply0 -
She says she did not read the reply I gave when she asked a question and that she thought it was 120 items instead of 60 items and she would be cheaper buying from tesco and now she want £6 back or she will leave a negative.I will wait and see if she leaves a neg then I will report it to ebay with her emails. Why does the buyer want a refund? Is this a the total price of the lot sold?

I assumed OP felt threatened by this person's actions due to their thread title..
Ask her to direct any further complaints or issued thru paypal dispute, as she will then have to return the items before a refund can be issued.0
