If you are linked to an address through another account, and they can trace you there, and they are trying to recover a debt (albeit a little prematurely, if it's only days overdue!), I don't see a problem with them writing to you. It's just unfortunate that your friend opened the letter, I think.
I can't see that there are any DPA breaches. They've obtained your linked address for a legitimate reason, no doubt through a legitimate source, and they have addressed the letter correctly.
It just seems like bad luck.0 -

Oh well maybe I wont bother taking it any further.
Just seems a bit unfair that they have been dealing with me at my own address for years and then suddenly send a late payment letter to another address and follow it up to with one to my own address two days later.
