Hiya both my two go to a childminder before and after school. I think it works out to £3 an hr. Her general rule for holidays and such is if i get paid she gets paid but obviously she will arrange alternative care if i need it. She is wonderful with the kids and they love her to bits so i would pay double if i had to.:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0

I'm a childminder in the south east and I charge £3.50 per hour. I do not do pick up from school any more as this is extremely hard work in winter when it is raining with the three under fives I usually have. I have been minding 20 years and luckily get plenty of work usually through recommedation and siblings. I do not charge for my five weeks holday, can charge half for term time only but do charge for all bank holidays as long as the parents get paid.0
