undated 20p coins

I know that there are a few of these about but there seems to be a scam with a few people on Ebay. Some are trying to ccatch unsuspecting and vulnerable people out by selling
'Collectors items 20p Coins undated on the HEAD side.
Now i know and most people know that ALL 20p coins are undated on the head side. Can anyone do anything to stop these shysters. I have no idea how to warn ebay or who to warn so could someone do it for me.
Thanks in advance.

All the old designed ones (withe the crown and rose on the reverse) are undated on the head side. The new "Lion's bum" reverse design is designed with the date on the opposite side to the old design. The faulty new-design coins should be dated on the head side and are not.
So I take it they are selling crown and rose design 20p, using a carefully worded listing to make out it is a faulty new one?
You can report ebay listings, click on report and see if there is a category.
Is it within the rules for you to put some listing numbers here?0 -
they are just showing the head (queens) and like yo say carefully wording it so it appears to be a collectors undated coin. the real undated coins are going for about £130make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

If people are stupid enough to fall for this or not read through the whole ad then that is there problem. To the people selling them, I say good luck, I just wish I had the bottle to do it myself.mortui non mordent0

So its okay to dupe old ladies and gents out of money just because
oh,. never mind i cant even begin to waste my time on people like you.
Shame on you,.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

Not being very bright is a negative character trait as much as dishonesty or selfishness, or thinking anything you can get away with is OK. I'm torn, people should suffer the consequences of their failings but I don't think people should deliberately try and con people as is obviously going on here.0

There's no duping involved, ebay is an auction. If an item is listed entirely correctly and someone chooses to bid well above what the item is worth then that's the bidder's problem, they're the one setting the price. So its okay to dupe old ladies and gents out of money just because

If all they are descibing the coin as is "Collectors items 20p Coins undated on the HEAD side" then they are not doing anything wrong because what they say is true. That's how they get away with it. There's nothing you can do except read the desciption carefully and recognise the scams.0

I reported several listings as having misleading titles and they were pulled.
These people aren't telling any lies, but that doesn't mean they aren't doing anything wrong. There isn't a coincidence that there's recently been a minting error, and so many people are offering perfectly normal 20ps for sale. It isn't making a huge assumption to say they are out to take advantage.0 -

Not really, I am well beyond the primary school age. The description from 11 year olds onwards is "Nice and decent person."0
