no poundland near us so does anyone know anywhere in west yorkshire that sells cheap earplugs please?
even if the tickets don't come we have found babysitter for baby so we will get a decent nights sleep for once. win win situation!

We went last year and our tickets onyl came 4 weeks before the event. As stated expect them mid-August. The event is a belter. Most of the Saturday activity is qualifiying so use this to have a look around the stalls etc. As the crwod will be quieter you'll be ablt to grab a seat in the stand on the start/finish straight for part of the day. On the sunday take your chair/your BBQ and park yourself on the grass banking overlooking the back straight

Do the tickets give you access on both days?

I have a feeling but not 100% sure but I think the tickets are for the whole weekend. i.e both days.

The tickets we had last year covered both days - I am hoping the same will apply this year.

We got given some free earplugs last year at the event so you should be ok on this one too.

Tickets DO cover both days. Head for the renault marquee in the centre of the track for freebies (posters, stickers and earplugs.) Some stalls in the pits area were selling ear-plus but in keeping with the entire weekend better to get them for free.
