I phone Spain twice a day: 15-25min each time. At present I use 1899 at 1p min. It's good but does anyone know of a better deal.

Kevin, you must be a glutten for punishment !. Because ma in law spends quite a lot of time over there, I did a google search for cheap calls FROM spain to uk and came up with several. I've now passed on the information and when they return to spain soon, will no doubt set one of them up.

One interesting thing is that neither of those I noted, were companies that required registration, it was dial a prefix prior to the UK international, in the same way as we can do with cheapercalls.com etc.

So, just in case you are unfamiliar with this, as I understand it, there are two ways you can access providers (other than BT/NTL), one is where you register such as 18866 or 1899 and they take the money from your account which you set up on line, and there is the other type where you simply dial a prefix and when your BT landline rental bill arrives, it will show you made a call via........................on such a date and you have ben charged................
