    lets get this right she got a nüvi satnav and she/you have got the latest map update ,
    run the update program you have downloaded ,it will install the lastest maps ,the only time you need a sd card is if you put europe on and it's best to put that on a sd card .
    the update program/map program will over wright the maps already there ,not insatall all the maps only update the ones on the nüvi,and then you can put the rest if needed on a sd card later
    there or their,one day i might us the right one ,until then tuff

    Also, quite a bit of space can be freed up on the nüvi by removing unwanted languages, voices etc. This can be done with Windows Explorer since when connected to a PC the nüvi is seen as another drive
    Try saying "I have under-a-pound in my wallet" and listen to people react!
