You know how some people drink a cup of hot water with a slice of lemon first thing in a morning - it's meant to prepare your stomach for the day. Well, you can do the same kind of thing with this salt and it has all sorts of other amazing health benefits because of the trace minerals it contains. -http://www.amazinghealth.co.uk/himalayan-rock-salt-sole.htm
But we've got to the stage where I don't use salt in cooking any more and the only thing me and my 2 children put salt on is eggs (though they can eat eggs without salt!). My husband is another matter but he's cutting down a lot as well. So even though it is expensive its better for you than normal processed (?) salt and it lasts us ages.

The food hall sale items have been reduced because of short "Use by" dates. The olives are dated 17/07/09 for instance, so best get eating. :D If they are out of stock of an item then they will substitute.

The Himalayan pink salt is quite nice, but comes with a wooden top with chrome effect plastic trim and is not clear acrylic as in the picture.

Half an hour of happy browsing and I'm 30 quid down. Many thanks OP!

Roughly how long between placing an order and receiving it? And what courier do they use? For once I'd like to be in for a delivery! Thanks.

Oh pooh! Missed this bit of advice! An d what is more forgot to put FREEBOOK!
    Really dozy tonight.:o
Thought I'd just see if this establishment were any better at Customer service so I sent them an email saying I had missed the 'free book' bit.
Have literally just now had a telephone call from a very upmarket sounding gentleman saying my free book would be included, with their compliments!
    How's that for service!
Couldn't quite bring myself to ask about redoing the order so I could get the £5 discount though:rotfl:
So order away Happy MSE'rs, seems someone knows about customer service!:T

Have now had an email saying the free book is added to ALL orders over £30 irrespective of whether you add it yourself!
They're definitely into belts and braces!
    No complaints about that though!:T

I have just had an email saying most of my order is out of stock (ordered on 9th, confirmation email on 10th) so I'm very disappointed.
