been with 3 for years, now considering O2

I've been with 3 for years on a contract and no other network. What can anyone tell me please about how O2 operate compared to 3. By this I mean will I be charged for a bill statement? Is there any way I can aviod this by looking at my bill online? Can I still track my minutes and text use on my mobile.

Anything different about charges phoning from abroad?
