Morning all Popping my nose in for a few minutes before I hit the books again Exam is on Wednesday & I'm really dreading it - I hate exams!! Although on the bright side my boss said that when I was done with the exam I could go home - exam is around 10am for an hour & a half so should be back home just after lunch time! (Every cloud does have a silver lining I guess....)

Hope the postie brings you all nice things, mine brought me the freebie from Grabit which was a USB card reader, I was so excited until BF pulled one exactly the same out of his draw that he'd bought from the £1 shop a couple of months back! :rolleyes:

Diva - sending so many good luck vibes for Lil Miss Dive for tomorrow, she is such a brave one!

oooo now im worried. initially you have to have a blood test to see if you are immune to a certain type of flu.

if you are not immune then they pick 26 people to have the vaccine and monitor you from there.

my theory is that it has already been tested extensively on cells and animals etc... now it is the phase of the human testing.

also my other theory was if it works i could be immune from all flu for life now thats the bit i like.

also these things have to be tested on people at some time, how else would we get the great medical advances we have now. there has ony been the one catastrophic case (where the men were critically ill afterwards and still are) that i know about.

hon dont do it even although i have flu right now they do test you there are some companies that dont give a dam out there just want to make money and statistics so that they are ok

diva my sister works in a lab that is researching HIV they have been doing it for years they have found things that can calm things but no cure please dont expose yourself

SFH - hope you are feeling better..I thought (still do actually) think I've got swine flu. On Thursday, I went to work, with the most agnosing throat...could not drink enough, sneezing lots etc..didn't sleep Thursday night at all, cos felt like I couldn't breathe properly lying down..muscles all aching..rang the docs yesterday morning, and the receptionist said if I didn't have a temperature over 38, it isn't swine flu, and I couldn't expect a phone call back, but I should still stay inside and rest...

My docs said some are going by the temp but my left lung seemingly bad and cough, sore throat and everything else, so they are classing lesser symptoms with mild cases.
If your chest is still sore get to the docs! Hope you are feeling better soonxx

Diva I would be a bit wary but someone has to test them and if you are fit and healthy then I do not see why.
Are you getting expenses or anything for it? I think those blokes in news is all that comes to mind when you hear of testing but must be a common practice for drugs etc.

I slept like a baby last night thanks to my pink beer. Keeping most of it for my 2 week camping trip with my friends. After the last time, i will need to be a perma-state of drunkeness to put up with them!!!!
