  • At the moment it's mainly on the crook of her elbows & just a little bit on her chin but sometimes it gets a lot worse than that.

Going to delete the pics soon, don't like leaving them on here too long.

  • At the moment it's Oilatum & E45 that seem to be working, avoiding ANY perfumed products altogether seems to have helped too. She was about 12/18 months when she was diagnosed with excema but had a bad allergic reaction to penicillin before she was 2 week old, the docs said it's all linked so she's had it since she was tiny.

My DS3 has excema, he started when he was about 8 months old, he's 15 months now and it's well controlled, personally I found oilatum to be great and they gave him some steroid cream too, can't remember what it was called now :o

I think I had all my wins for this year back in may/june. It has been verrry quiet for me these last few weeks xx
    :) xx JoJo xx :)

Oilatum is good stuff - i pop it in Noahs bath. He has a touch of asthma very occasionally (twice since he was born) and the docs also told me that was related. It's so hard to know whats best. Hopefully they'll grow out of it soon

Noah has had the steriod cream but only when it was infected. That worked a treat but they cant prescribe it for regular use. :(

princessmoneysaver... I swear by this CLICKY

shea butter is the only thing that has cleared it - friends who have tried also swear by it too hth

    (all 100% natural too)
    :DPle'ma an bysva?:D
  • She's got the Oiltum bath stuff as well, & Hydrocaustin (sp?) for when it gets really bad which is a steriod cream.

I know she's just tried the dress on quickly but any clothes I buy either new or from charity shops/given to me I always wash them myself so I know which products have been used on them. She has her own towels so she can't get soap on them, I wash & freeze her teddies to help, lots of little things really but trying to keep her life as normal as possible.
