Transferring previous years ISA

Hi, I am going to transfer previous years ISA to Halifax fixed rate ISA. this doesn't allow any further deposits for the term of the ISA.I haven't used any of this year's allowance and as I am over 50, want to use my extra allowance in October. Can I open another ISA at that time as I have only transferred previous years to the Halifax?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

I dont see that there is anything wrong with that. As far as i know you can open as many ISAs in one year as long as you only contribute to one. This doesnt include transferring because that is not contributing.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0
