I love it on toast with cheese all over the top - or just stirred through pasta
It will keep in the fridge for a couple of weeks usually - so have pasta n pesto for a couple of meals and it will all be gone0 -
my idea of great comfort food is..... mashed potatoes with a dollop of pesto mixed into it with a little bit of olive oil...... sigh just heavenly.... might just have to make some right now. Rest of family don't like the green bits so I always leave there mash plain :rotfl:

We add it to drop scone mix. Once these are cooked then we top them with a dollop of creme fraiche, smoked salmon [omit if veggie] and top off with toasted pinenuts [or sunflower seeds if funds are tight]

My children love pasta mixed with philedelphia cheese, pesto and broccoli. I also always stir it into the spaghetti when making spag bol.0

My mum always keeps it fresh by putting a drop of olive oil on top after using it and then keeping it in the fridge so it lasts a bit longer.
As for recipes, my fav is just mixed with pasta for a quick and easy meal. Or add to spag bol (with quorn mince)

If you do decide to freeze it in an ice cube tray... line the tray with cling film first.
It stops the tray becoming stained, and it make it easier to get it out of the tray.
The frozen cubes can then be put into a freezer bag, freeing up your ice cube tray0 -
Spread it over pitta bread, top with other leftovers such as mushrooms, ham etc, sprinkle cheese over and grill - it's a sort of pizza style thing without bothering to make or buy a base.Yeah, whatever. I'm a grown up, I can take it...0
