I had a cooked breakfast in a Tesco cafe once - it may have been quite cheap but it wasn't particularly edible! I agree Sainsburys cafes are good with the cooked to order food, I've had good experiences with them. Also love the curries Waitrose do in their cafes, nice big portions too. And they give you a little chocolate with your hot drink!0

I used to work in a sainsburys cafe oh the stories i could tell.....although yes the food was cooked to order and was very nice as us staff used to stuff our faces at the end of the night with what was left...esp cakes that were on they're chucking out date bakewell tart yummy.....Other women want a boob job. Honey the only silicone i'm interested in is on a 12 cup muffin tray, preferably shaped like little hearts

Well, I have mixed experiences - my old local Teco was awful, and the last time I ate there several years ago they even managed to burn the toast and then serve it to me obviously black, however the large Tesco extra a few miles further away from me (Eastvile, Bristol) has had the cafe contracted out to Avience, and its really quite good. Not all the staff are 15, and the manager is about 30 and appears to have a good hold on things. The breakfast is good, and the cafe is always clean and tidy, although I must say that I have had more "bad" tesco cafe experiences than good.0

Mnid you, there has been the odd time when I've needed to take my meds and they've given me a free cup of tea. I guess a lot goes to how you treat them. There is no need to run outside
