Best places to see in Cornwall?

We are taking a trip to Cornwall, including Land's End, as we saw John O'Groats a few years back.
Are there any places for two adults, no kids, to see and do?
Anywhere nice to stay?
Any must not misses?
Many thanks

I am no expert in property but have lived in many types of homes, in many locations and can only talk from experience.

Sennen beach (Lands end beach really) is gorgeous and fab for surfing and just people watching. Lovely beach cafe too.
As jebervic says St Ives is a must too, very quaint and olde worlde and fab beaches for kids and also surfing as they have a few.
If you want to ride a Segway, Goonhilly Earth Station is good and well worth a visit and not too expensive either. Best to prebook the Segway though.
We love Cornwall.:hello:0 -
Don't eat a cornish pasty near the beach the seagulls are vicious.
Dont eat a cornish pasty - full stop, they are absolutely disgusting:eek:
Polperro is brilliantly quaint and you can have a ride in one of the fishermens boats.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
If you are coming down to the far west of the county there are lots of places to see, Mevagissey, Maritime museum in Falmouth, Lizard Point (the most southerly place in England), Penzance, Minack Theatre near Lands End, Lands End itself, St. Ives, Portreath.
If you are into walking spectacular views from the coastal path, and don't forget to have a delicious Cornish Pasty, the best ones come from small independent bakeries ask someone where the best are in the location you are in.:D0 -

Homemade pasties rock! Most pasties you can buy in shops outside of Cornwall are disgusting (naming no names but the ones beginning with G are foul & should be banned!). Doesn't help that most non-Cornish people think they should be made with mince
Polperro,
Looe,
St Michael's Mount (walk across & get the boat back if you time it right),
Kynance Cove,
Lamorna Cove
The Minack Theatre (try & see a play),
Sennen Cove,
Pedn Vounder, if lucky can walk from here to Porthcurno & the Minack (ooh just noticed in the link it's a naturist beach  only ever been here during the winter when it's far too cold for all that malarky!),
hire some bikes & ride from Wadebridge to Padstow along the Camal Trail (stopping off at either end for a pint or two!)
St Nectan's Glen only accessable by foot
The Cheesewring on Bodmin Moor,
Eden Project (if that's your cup of tea, use Tesco vouchers if you've enough)
Mousehole (pronounced Mousall not mouse-hole),
Drive through Veryan and go to St Mawes,
Mullion & Coverack,
Port Issac,
Go to Padstow & take the ferry across to Rock then walk to St Enodoc Church where Sir John Betjemin was buried (the church was also buried until about a century ago!)
In my opinion Land's End itself isn't really worth the enterance fee, maybe you could go to The Lizard which is mainland Britain's most southerly point!
Could go on & on really, but I'll leave it there. It's not until I write stuff like this down that I realise how beautiful my home county really is.
It really depends on how far you want to travel & what you want to do really (also depends on the weather!).
Hope all of this helps and have a wonderful holiday.

Mevagissey is lovely, we did boat rides around the bay. Charlestown is an olde worlde village with big ships and was great. Fowey is lovely, but very steep!0
