can i just ask a quick question, does the buyers payment go into my account before i sent the book or after, i dont know where to check for any payments :o

Hi dawn1 - you have to wait a little while to get your hands on the cash, it's paid out every 2 weeks unless you ask for it to be transfered sooner. Go to your account page > seller account page > view your amazon payments and billing history > account summary and you'll find the amount there and the date that it will be transfered to your account, it clears a few days later.

Im afraid that is just totally wrong information. Under both Amazon guidelines and the Distance Selling Regulations a customer can return an item for a refund for any reason whatsoever within seven days of receipt. That includes their error. Dont refund until the item is back in your possession but you are legally obliged to issue a full refund.

Sorry new seller, it looks like you're refunding anyway (we had this discussion about refunding when the buyer requests it a couple of weeks back and it slipped out of my head) I still think that it's unfortunate (to put it mildly) to have to refund when you did nothing wrong - that's probably why I have a mental block on the whole subject :o
Thanks Amazombie for watching my back :T

I think that 7 is the next along if you want it - the idea of a partial refund would have been worth a try, it might have suited her which I suppose would suit you too.

Make that 8, can I bags 7 as it's my lucky number please?!!

New seller - that could work. Say that they can send it back and you'll refund or as a goodwill gesture offer to reduce the price by £x - let them choose. You're obviously obliged to refund unfortunately, but they might prefer some money off and no hassle of returning it.
