THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!
oh, can i have number 7? (i presume numberthree will be numbersix now!)
Please take whichever number you like, we're just pleased that you've made your sales.
Dawn1, you sound so excited, even after selling for around 4 years I still get a flutter when I see the 'dispatch now email', it's the randomness of it that's great.
When you sell on ebay you know when your auctions will finish and you're expecting something, even with buy it now you are aware that it may happen but Amazon sales can come out of the blue, particulary if it's a book that's been listed for over a year, it's always a thrill and I don't suppose that it will ever get to be mundane.0 -
numberthree wrote:Angela you pipped me to number 3 so I shall wait and choose another one in due course!! - Great idea AT (number 3 was my hockey club shirt number!)
How about taking 33? or 666? or any other variation of 3 :rotfl:0 -
Having had no sales for over a week I sold two books in less than an hour yesterday on Amazon, plus a further two on ebay, so I am pleased!

hiya
i posted earlier about a cd and refund and was thinking that i had been forgotten
if anyone could help0 -
Hi new seller, I think Yvonne covered it really.
If you listed the CD as used and the buyer is a bit cheesed off because she could have got a new one for just a little more then you don't have to refund, it's her look-out, she should have looked at all the choices.
If you mistakenly put it in with the new ones then I'm afraid you do need to refund as it was an error on your part.
If you need to refund go to your account page > seller account page > view your amazon payments and billing history > search transactions and you'll find the transaction details there including a refund option0 -

Im afraid that is just totally wrong information. Under both Amazon guidelines and the Distance Selling Regulations a customer can return an item for a refund for any reason whatsoever within seven days of receipt. That includes their error. Dont refund until the item is back in your possession but you are legally obliged to issue a full refund.0 -

maybe i was a little excited , but it was a thrill , it is exactly as you say on, ebay you have some idea , with bids , watchers ect, but amazon just came out of the blue and i suppose with it being the first sale i did not know what to expect
can i just ask a quick question, does the buyers payment go into my account before i sent the book or after, i dont know where to check for any paymentsAMAZON SELLERS CLUB member 0066

Oh my goodness!! I listed a book last night after finding this thread and it sold this morning! I can't believe it! Thanks again everyone :j:smileyheaRachel xx0

Some may remember a book I asked about on Real Estate investment a while ago which I bought for £4. Well this morning I sold it for £25! So after fees I get £22, will probably be quite expensive to post but I'm sure I'll make at least £10 on it. Woo hoo! I was beginning to think it would never go. I'd put the price down twice as well.'Everyone loves to read but it can be a real nuisance when you lose your place. Here's a solution. When you finish reading a page, just tear it out.
