Good cheap broadband router

Ok folks, I just purchased one of these:
http://www.netgear.com/Products/RoutersandGateways/SuperGWirelessRouters/WGT624.aspx
I got it for £34.99 and it includes a 108mbps adaptoer for my laptop (my internal network adaptor is only upto 'G' 54mbps standard).
Is this all I would need to go with one of the companies whom don't supply a modem/router with their contract? Obviously I would need the adsl filter which is already connected.
What worries me is that I see no mention of modem on there?John

Disregard my last - It DOES require an additional modem. Coupled with this it needs to have a desktop to connect it to, which is no good as I only have a gaming laptop!John

You've bought the wrong one, cancel it and get an adsl router, eg dg834G. 54Mb is fine.0
