Harewood 10k is 18th October I think. Mr Sunday is doing it too - although we aren't running together, as he wants to finish in the top 25!!!

Becks, I really think I might be a bit mad you know! :rotfl: But I coped okay with the inclines in Leeds (apparently, I only struggle with hills if it's 27 degrees in the shade and I've drunk well over a bottle of wine the night before...go figure... :D), and Mr Sunday is threatening to take me running on the hills with him, so I will have plenty of time to practice.

Sammy :grouphug: sorry your OH has seen his ar$£ tonight. Glad you and Bookie had a nice day though.

Sal, hope DD feels better soon.

I've forgotten who else I was going to reply to now, sorry! :rotfl:

Edit - oh yes, and the big gaps at the bottom of some posts are just because the post isn't as long as the avatar and info at the left. It only happens on short posts, unless someone has done it intentionally by whiting out their naughty confessions. :)

Mr Sunday has such a sexy bum....I am only dating runners from now on!!!

Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

Just googled and there was a running club event in the same place in June - winning time 33:50

Couldnt find any results for last years October event but for comparison the 10k I did earlier in the year (which was tough but not 'hilly' ) was 33:13 but it was a fun run style thing

A flat 10k is usually 29-31 minutes ish so its not remotely flat!!!

What time is Mr Sunday looking at?? He must be pretty good - sub 40 minutes??
