Blacklisting numbers

I have a sagem c5 on vodafone network, in the phone i have come across a blacklist setting which when i press ok, it comes up as empty and i can't see anywhere in the manual where it explains how to blacklist a number.

I have phoned vodafone to see if i can block a number but i have to either have all outgoing calls blocked or all incoming calls blocked.

Anyone any ideas on this??

Definition of the black list

The black list reduces the amount of unsuccessful automatic calls (calls generated by the automatic redial function or by applications like data or fax).

From the calls menu, select the black list menu and Enter.

When several call to one number have been unsuccessful ( number busy orunknown), this number is placed on the black list. No further automaticcall will be made to that number until it is deleted from the black list.

Comment : this function does not concern call made manually.

Thankyou Jenniferpa, does this work for incoming calls too? ie; if i could enter a number to be blacklisted so my phone wouldn't accept the calls from that number?

From what the site says, no - only outgoing calls.

Oh well, will just have to keep ignoring the calls then.
