How can they call that a classic court shoe? There is a reason why they are so cheap! ;)

Hmmm, yep pretty classic for french connection. Yes there is a reason they are cheap, they are in the sale, there are boots slashed from nearly £300 down to £79!

However, if you mean 'cheap' as in cheap and 'tacky' then maybe you should have kept that to yourself as the OP and lots of others clearly adore them and are very happy with the bargain.

I can not see why members post negatives about a 'grabbit', I'd like a cheap light weight rain mac at the moment, but if I came onto a rain mac offer thread, I'd not dare to post a negative if it was say navy blue and only in size 24.

OP...They are very fun, I could get away with the black, but not the red, not that brave, my size is not left in black, but thank you anyway :D

LOL, people 'offended' over a jokey comment? Please, have you not heard worse - I saw someone else wearing some of these last night and thought of this thread and had a little chuckle to myself.

I also live in a council house, I am not a waynetta chav and yes, I work too - in fact I run my own business. However, I laughed at your comment Tina because there was no reason to be offended by a stupid joke - unless of course you are a chav and wanted to defend yourself. And Tina, why on earth did you apologise? It was not needed. it was a joke people, get over yourselves!!

I see most the people complaining have not been on MSE very long and broclo, surely you know better by now than to ignore stuff like that, you have all got so much to learn!! If you cannot take a little joke on these forums I'd not bother looking again and go do your 'shopping' elsewhere. As this is an open and public forum where people can have, and post, their own opinions whether or not you like or agree with them, then we can can do so as we wish. If something is rubbish quality then we can say so. if something looks cheap (and you can use whatever interpretation you want) yes, we can say so too. Because it's a free country. :T

And my opinion is that these shoes can only be worn by a certain kind of person. I do know a few of these people and this is where I get MY opinions from. :rotfl: I could be here all day commenting on these shoes but you'll probably track me down and hit me with your matching handbags. Bye!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Are we not all allowed an opinion?

Some of us do not buy something just because it has a name attached to it, that isn't really moneysaving now, is it? Especially when said purchase makes you look like a peasant! :p

i think the original comment was out of order. i apologise for mentioning council estate, i see that is a stereotype and chavs can come from any estate, and any background.
the arrogance of the post about "glamour" and "school run" not going together really annoyed me. Your suggestion that I do not interact with my children because I choose to dress nicely is a bit stupid too. I work for a living because I believe you should work to pay for your life. I get up an hour before my children so I can get ready for work, before I wake them. I then spend the next hour and half having breakfast with my family and interacting as a family until we go to school. looking nice does not mean that I am a bad mother. it means I am organised and able to fit everything in. its called preparation. now, if you, or anyone else has anything else they would like to throw at me, please private message me. don't bore everyone on this BARGAIN forum with your silly comments.
   [/QUOTE]

I found the original comment re getting dressed up for the school run a bit rude too to be honest.
I have to look smart for work and take the children to school and then go in to the office - having said that I get lots of comments about being too dressed up for school - I don't comment on what some of the other mum's are wearing - it's silly really - assumably they are going home with their younger children and I am going to work so each of us dress appropriately
I think that they are just jealous.... LOL! :D tongue in cheek!!!

Anyhow I am toying with buying these shoes but holding back as I ordered from Kurt Geiger a pair of different shoes last week and they sent me two right feet - i.e. not a pair so have had to return them ( returns aren't free either and the shoes are heavy!) hope they refund ok.

I used a first customer discount code will see if I can find and post :)
