How can they call that a classic court shoe? There is a reason why they are so cheap! ;)

Very glam, but I'd break my ankle wearing them! :D

Court shoes (British English) or pumps (American English) are shoes with usually no fastening and a low cut front. However, some have ankle straps. They are usually worn by women now, but are still traditional menswear in some formal situations, when they are sometimes called opera slippers or patent pumps.

That's what wiki says so it MUST be true that both men and women can buy these shoes. :rotfl:

So I was not on my own then when expecting a nice flat black shoe to wear at a wedding in a few weeks time!! Op, how on earth can these be

    so comfortable!!!!

A mum from my childs school wears these all the time OP and although she does look like a model and looks very 'glam' (do you need to be glam on the school run??) and maybe she is comfortable in them because she wears them every day - but she also walks like she has pooped herself as her knees cannot bend properly because of the height of the heel and the angle that her foot is bent. I just do not think anyone has the nerve to tell her!! :rotfl:

how gorgeous are they, but also as I am already 6ft they would add another 4 inches to my height and would be hitting my head on door frames. still nearly brought them though..still may....

I don't understand why people have to be so rude.
Thankyou OP for the tip off. The shoes are stunning.

As for the "do you need to be glam for the school run" comment, yes, you do. If that's what you want to do, yes. If you want to go around like a council estate chav waynetta type, then that's fine too. Different strokes and all that.
I know where I prefer to be.....
