    Fantastic Walshy

Great news on the loan Hypno - get it as low as you can.

Its my sisters 40th B'D today but she is in the USA.

Been swimming this morning with DD and she then went shopping for last minute bits and pieces for Uni. Taking her on Saturday!.

I got a decent payout from Quidco as well £66 !!

Anyway - off to KS3 Awards Evening at school tonight.

Hope you all have a good one

Still need you to be my neighbour on farmville to return the favour. I need to extend my farm before the animal rights people start complaining expecially with all those elephants - don't ask (it is my latest obsession) I can't expand without two more neighbours so if anyone fancies farming PM me with your FB details and I will add u.

Sorry hypno hijack over - but my first post was on your diary so this is my homebase :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I don't do the farm thing - I already have plenty in my life to keep me from doing all the things I should be doing - I don't have time for any more procrastination in my day

I couldn't arrange the "new" barclayloan because it was busy at work, but I will give them a call first thing in the morning to get it done. I did manage to ring back and get them to confirm the figures, but then things got busy again so I had to abort the call :o

BUT, I did the numbers - I have 32 months left on the old loan at 24.9% - £416 a month for 32 months.

The new loan, at 8.4% is over 24 months - £385 (ish) a month for 24 months.

So....assuming I ran the loan for the full term - that would be a saving of OVER £4000

You are an inspiration to us all Hypno - I have decided that when our IVA completes I will try and pay an extra couple of hundred quid off the mortgage each month. That way, when I finally retire (51 now so some 14 years down the line) we will have less owing on the house and less debt to worry about. Well that's my intention anyway, OH is not very motivated about finances, he leaves it all to me so I have told him that is what we will do. He will thank me for it in the end!

That is a brilliant saving Hypno typical though now the debt is getting sorted they throw loans at you at a respectable rate but when you really need it they don't want to know

I wasn't expecting you to be a farmer Hypno that is a step too far with all the things you are juggling its Farmer Walshyboy I'm after in return for voting for him :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I know, all those years when I was desperate for a decent APR, and flummoxed as to why I couldn't get anything at all.....then, when the end is finally in sight, (sort of), I have credit thrown at me from all directions

Credit crunch, what credit crunch :rotfl:

Of course, OH's reaction was "oh goodie, I can have a new bike" - some things NEVER change

Thanks beanie - it will be a few days til it is all clear etc, but it will be a nice feeling when it is done......I still can't quite believe how much of a difference overall it would be.....just imagine if I had stuck to paying minimums on ALL my debt - how much would I have ended up paying in the end
