    It means I have started to pay off my mortgage - the biggest debt of all! It will reduce by about £450 a month - that is what we were paying to the egg loan, plus my pay rise, so theoretically I don't have to find any extra money each month.

    And of course, each payment increases the equity in my house, which increases the deposit we will have for dream house when the time comes :D

    It's even better I've got this time off so I've been sneaking along the dockside to look in the Excel centre via the loading bays and the car park and some of the stuff they were taking in.... :drool:

    Helicopters... Jets... Guns... Armoured tanks... Armoured jeeps...

    It's like James Bond's playground and I'm not invited in!

    Yes and get shot by the marksmen or pushed to the ground by the 300 police officers who are dotted around! :p

    Thanks beanie - I do have to do some number crunching because the mortgage comes out of a different account to the one that was paying the egg loan, so moving DDs around or transferring money will be required.....I will get the calculator and the pad of paper out at some point!
