It's an opportunity for a night out - and I don't get many of those......so I won't mind who is playing  Work are providing transport too - so one or two pimms could find themselves coming my way.........

Now I got Dragged (Literally) to see Boyzone at Wembley and they were suprisingly good!

Didn't take themselves seriously at all and as long as Stephen Gately does his little solo number (no it's not one of those silly songs he released), then you'll laugh your socks off!
 Debt Free since July 2011 and it feels good!

Now it's all about finding a deposit for a house!

How do you amass £70k in a year?!

  • I've decided that I need to find a mad scientist, who's prepared to travel back through time and aquire some medusan dna to "implant" in me ..... that way I can have multiple heads (and therefore multiple pairs of eyes) in order to see 20 monitors at once just in order to read everyone's diary at the same time so I can stay caught up ... I'm bloomy exhausted just reading them all :rotfl::rotfl:
    hypno06 wrote: »
but that would mean heading over to the "other" board - I am not sure I am ready to leave diaryland right now :rotfl:

I don't see why you'd have to H..... I've classed my mortgage as a debt (even if like mr richdad poordad says... it's a "good" debt) so I will be hanging around here until it's all paid off - wonder how many of you will be here then !!

Will do! I've just been offline for a bit refining the diary basics by month and by room .... then I'll write the first post over the next few days and ask Hypno to pretty please let me post the linkie on her thread. See you soon... oh my god, I'm committed now...... I should be committed.... :D of course, we only have one life (in our current incarnation :D) so I better go for it! Yay! Here's to flasks of G&T for Shelley and Hypno, and flasks of Pimms (straight) for me. With dogs lolloping about for Pania and Mizmir, and a couple of cats for me.

Guess that'll be another subscription then .... oh and by the way ... mine's a Pimms ..... with Mutts please :p

    I've managed a NSD today :T

So my £20 is intact at the end of day one :D

DD has bought herself a sewing machine (partly courtesy of pigsback vouchers in John Lewis :D) and is busying herself in customising and revamping old clothes - yesterday she made a fab little off the shoulder number out of her old PE top  The MSE'ness continues!

See ... that's exactly what I meant .... Think your ickle gal is a fashion designer in the making H :D

Hope you feel a bit fresher tomorrow ... I always dread the first few days back working after a break - somehow feels worse than if I hadnt bothered in the first place :o

Those houses look luverly ... try a dream board: put pictures / detalis of the house .... a cheque for the amount & the date n things like that .. and put it up so you can focus... it's something I read about on one of my coaching courses, and I'm in the process of doing one myself.

Mind you for me (I know this sounds sad but ...), I'd just be happy if I manage some finance to keep hold of dad's house - that'd be a dream for me.

You'll have loads of fun. If Shane wants my telephone number that fine I bet he could afford to buy me one of the million pound houses ;)

    I'll have a word when I am there.......:D

If things had been different, I would have kept my dad's house. But as he had a mortgage, with no life assurance, we were on a hiding to nothing right from the word go. Plus, I had 100k of debt myself so wouldn't have been able to raise any more at that point....

Right - I know why I felt so tired yesterday - I have a streaming cold. It just happened last night, and now I am full of it. Great.....

Off to do scratchcards and banking......

St miniver is not awake yet, so will have to scratch later.

Banking shows that my last student cheque has cleared, so I have paid £195 off OH Egg loan - bringing total debt down to below £25k and bringing the egg loan down to just £764.30 :D
