Self Select ISA

I would like to buy a Self-Select ISA but I would like an option of buying both funds and shares. I have about £5000 to invest every year. I would like to invest about £3000 in shares(about £500 in each stock) and the rest in equity funds. Please is there anyone who can help.
The only ones that I have found are hargreaves lansdown. Are they any other cheaper ones.
Who are the cheapest self-select ISA providers for just shares.. I will be trading just 1-2 times in three months.
Thanks in advance.

Squaregain seem to be pretty well thought of.
Annual charge is £25 and dealing is £12.50 a shot (i think)
or there is
Hoodless brennan annual charge is £50 but dealing is cheaper ~£8
so i guess your cheapest would depend on the number of trades you expect to make.0 -
You can compare brokers based on your expected dealings here. FWIW, I'm more than happy with Squaregain; found HL an expensive pain in the neck for sharedealing though they're OK for funds. BTW, cheapest isn't always best; there have been complaints about some of the cheaper brokers. Oh, there's a Brokers board at the Motley Fool where you can browse, too.

Thanks to all your replies.
But, is it possible with any of these to buy both shares and FUNDS within the same self-selct ISA? Are there any such providers? All I know is HL.

Yes, quite a few brokers give access to funds as well as shares in a self-select ISA. Squaregain certainly does and they even have a similar discount available on the initial commission, though not on the trail( though FWIW I worked out that for me, at least, it was cheaper to buy and keep funds with SG than with HL ).0 -
Thanks for your replies.. :-)
