Well if you are sure the other items are worth £55 then go and stick some bids in on them and get the prices up (hopefully with another bidding ID). I used to bid on competitors items to get prices up.

The point being you can bid with what you are comfortable with (probably plus a little bit) so if by some strange chance you win, you will then have enough in hand to resell for hopefully a small profit.0

Couldn't have afforded the risk.
The item went for £40, if I'd left the previous sellers bid then I could have got £55.
