Pardon my dumbness here, I am extremmely confused by home phones - specifically the difference between a lien rental package and a calls package.
Sorry if it doesn't make sense.
Best regards,
Sky have the £16.50 deal on for one pack, broadband and calls.
BT have the free connection if you stay with them for 18 months.
Does taking the Sky deal but not paying them line rental then cancel your contract with BT (the 18 month one) or because you are still paying BT your line rental, does it count as staying with BT?BT have the free connection if you stay with them for 18 months.
Sorry if it doesn't make sense.
Best regards,

You can keep your line rental with BT and cps (carrier preselect) your calls to SkyTalk, and your be a customer of both.
However the BT 18 month free connection contract requires you to make a certain number of calls each month via BT,which you wouldnt be able to do if you moved your calls to Sky.
In case your not aware some price and broadband changes are about to occur at Sky.

To expand on this the way Sky route their calls makes it impossible for you to route any calls over BT even if your line rental remains with them. As BT's offer requires you to make 10 calls a month you will find that they will charge you the full installation fee very quickly.0 -
