patronising email

I've just had a patronising little email from a buyer thanking me for his item that arrived today and very carefully explaining to me that here in England we spell Keith with an ei, whereas I have spelt it 'ie'. He said I might find it useful in future as although he is OK about it and his item arrived safely, others may be offended by my use of the English language and I need to be more careful.
Fair enough I'm sure you are all thinking, except that I print my postage labels direct from the paypal notes, so the spelling error is his, not mine.I've just checked again in case I am going mad and my printer has been possessed, but nope, he has spelt it Kieth.
Must not reply, must not reply, must not reply
should this not read "must not reply until after the feedback dealine?0 -
What a loser, obviously wayyyyyyyy toooooo much time on their hands. If someone spells my name wrong who cares, as long as I am happy with my item they can spell my name how they like, as long as it gets to me, I do not care.
You have to reply and let us know what he says on this one!?! Can just imagine he is the kind of person which postmen, shop workers, etc hate as he will find something wrong with anything and painstakingly point it out to them!Is a sufferer of SAD, so don't blame me, blame the depressing English weather!!!:beer:0 -
Pinkshoes is much less snippy, but I love this, soolin:
'whilst some names do look as though they are spelt incorrectly I always assume that buyers can spell their own names correctly . Obviously it did not occur to me that you were unable to spell Keith, and I apologise for not correcting your error.'0 -
