so the 8 billion that has been paid back in the last year shows on the graph as that tiny fall at the top? oh dear!!!
hmmmm.... as we see here geoffrey's ability to interpet the graph is somewhat one dimensional.
How about if the average disposable income has gone up geoffrey?
Say if there were low interest rates?
Might that play a larger part?
p.s. the extra £8bn was repaid over the first 3 months of 2009 according to the articles I read0 -
It's not Geoff's fault if you lot aren't cleaver enough to understand basic statistical representations of complex data.0

I wasn't having a go as such, I'm a bit of a geek and like charts and graphs. And I'm sure that one shows something. I'd just like to know what.0

I maybe not that clever ..but i am clever enough not to have to work for a living having made it all before the age of 40....stupid me....I must now go out and buy ten btl to make me even more stupid...It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -

I suppose there are plenty of people who don't work for a living.... what's your point?0 -
I'm afraid I can only get worried about it if I know exactly what it shows me. Otherwise we could all just make stuff up:
Notice how the upsurge starting in 2002 coincides with the boom of BTL. Bloody chancers. Scum, the lot of them.
You forgot to distort the vertical scale to make it look worse: amateur :-)0 -
