Not working today, so no excuse not to fly! Last week fell apart a bit flyingwise, but I've decided to take my own advice for once and start again this week...;)

I've only just caught up with the last thread, so will just go ahead with the kitchen now, then read a bit more of this. If I do it now, nothing else gets done!

    Morning all

I just know it is going to be one of those days, already had a phone call from DS2 at school to say his brace has broken so emergency appointment later today which means moving other things about.

Dailies almost done - just need another 15 minutes then:

    Finish blackcurrent cordial
Make a cake as lovely friend from Scotland popping in later (not seen her in 2 years)
Sort out something for dinner tonight
1 thing from my list (either gardening or sorting cards)

Dusty - was you it your son that had a case of swine flu at school? Did anything else come of it? I'm only asking because we've had a confirmed case at our school but it's in a totally different class to my two. Just wondered if yours had spread at all.

Yes we had suspected at both schools but have heard no more. Just got emails saying guidelines now were for schools to stay open and ill kids to stay at home, oh and an email leaflet of how to wash your hands. I don't think they are testing people anymore. I was looking at this link last night.

Managed to do lots in the kitchen last night so I only need to clean out a cupboard for a star....but that won't be done today....I was up in the night (well, 4am) being sick, then again this morning. I was supposed to be on a work training day today so I've had to phone in sick. Just sat in bed feeling sorry for myself...I'm not very good at being ill, and I'm going to have a little sleep now.

Hopefully I'll feel up to doing a bit later on. See you later.

I'm up and breakfasted... I kept meaning to get up earlier and then falling asleep!

I suppose I'd better get on a get a few things done before my midday reflexology appointment...

Looks like it's going to be raining here all day again  and more worryingly, we've currently got rain forecast for Saturday, so the bride is considering wearing wellies under her dress :D

I've done the Living room, Dining Room and stairs this morning. Off to do the bathroom now - need to get ahead of myself so that I can enjoy Sportsday tomorrow [praying for rain I am] I have also done washing up and TD is on.

Missed lurking on here last night

I need to amend my weekly challenge as there is no way I am going to be able to do my list!!! Getting married does rather put the dampeners on things ;)

    New List
    1. Clean front Door - Its a disgrace
    2. Do the Garden - at least if I can cut the grass it might look better
    3. Ironing - DO IT - half is now done
    4. Sort out paperwork ready for filing
    5. Be less stressed with the kids

Thats it for now - have a nice day everyone
