How strange that you should have dug up a thread from a year ago...I wonder why that might be?

After reading some of your comments, we tried a product called PEEK...a silver cleaner purchased from a shoe repair shop.
The results were amazing. It takes a bit longer, because you have to aply the product a tiny bit at a time, polish and buffet it...and then do it again, but...nobody believes it is the same hob we ad stored in the shed for5 tears. Absolutly amazing stuff.

Amazing. Who would have thought someone would keep an old damaged hob for 5 years and then waste time and expense to try cleaning it, let alone re fitting it in the kitchen.

    Ill have 2 tins.

No point starting a new one when one already exists :money:
  • Peek is amazing, I bought a massive tube to keep my motorbike bits nice and shiny - didn't think to try it on the hob until I saw this tread. I've just had a go and it has removed all the weird streaks and tarnish marks straight away! :j
  • Hi . I did exactly the same with the same product from Lidl. Did you manage somehow get rid of the marks?
