can anyone help please? computer keeps freezing

Hi,
This is my 1st post so please be kind to me lol!
over the last week when on mse when i click the threads for comps my computer freezes and i have to start up again. sometimes i can enter 2 or 3 comps before it freezes.
I am not too good with computers anyway would appreciate any help in plain english please.
Just to mention that i hit the back button when i want to enter another comp could this be anything to do with it,

Really not sure to be honest
I notice it has a 'likeability' section now which might have something to do with it but personally speaking ive no clue
Best I can suggest is to clear your cookies for this site and try again
If still no good id post here ~
