the new dates are 9th -12th October.

If you pre-registered with Ticket Soup you should have got an email offering advance purchase - I've just bought mine. There is a limit of 2 tickets per booking/email address though on the advance purchase.

Also worth noting even the advance purchase website is a bit wobbly this morning. I was on my third attempt before I was successful.

I did receive an email - almost immediately confirming the booking. I have to say though, like you, at the point of inputting the card details it seemed to zip through in record speed however when I got the confirmation I decided it must have been ok. Is there anywhere on their website you could input the confirmation number to check status?

See th ewebsite has crashed again - why is it we always get an apology for them being unable to handle "sales" why is this not given to someone who can handle it. Sorry seems to be a well used word these days.

(does saying sorry always make it right.)

Scottishminnie - cant get on the website, dont know how else to check apart from phoning and cant get through. Will they contact me if they had a problem with the website accepting my card? I know the card is fine, used it with no problems recently. I did get the "Thank you for your ticket purchase" confirmation after putting in my card info. Did you also get told what seats you got as I dont have this info either.

    Thanks for your help
  • I've been trying to get through on phone line for nearly an hour - exactly the same problem. I'm not convinced its gone through properly. They havent tried to take it from my credit card yet either. did you have any luck on the phone? I can get into the website but cant see where i put the booking reference !!

I also booked tickets on their website and again got a confirmation email quite quickly. It looks like they are taking bookings, THEN processing the card afterwards. According to their website, you should receive tickets within 48 hours but I very much doubt it on this occasion as there is such a high demand. I'd give it a couple of days and then check your credit card to see if the amount has come off.

I have 2 tickets for the Usher Hall also (for my Mum's birthday) and I phoned them up to ask where the tickets were and they told me they wouldn't be issued until late next week (at the earliest) due to the amount of tickets they have to issue and post.

I finally managed to get through to them on the phone this morning and was assured my tickets were fine and that payment would be taken over the weekend. I was also assured that if there was a problem with the card they would contact me to confirm the details. I am so relieved, lets hope payment is taken and tickets issued asap!

Sorry, just saw your post from earlier. Glad you got through to them - I believe the tickets sold out by 10.30am so I'm glad I got them yesterday.

Aaargh!!! - I've missed out twice now.

I was on holiday last week and didn't even find out about the extra dates till I had a look at this thread today

Does anyone know whether more dates are likely to be announced (for any venue) and what is the best way to find out about them in time to have a chance at getting tickets?

I desperately want to go, but there is no way I'm giving £100+ to the touts on eBay.
