So annoyed - I was on the phone all day yesterday and today but was out this evening so too late to book online. I am thinking that the box office will not care a jot about the trouble as they have sold all their tickets.

dave im the same raging about the way the whole thing has been dealt with packed up earlier to settle the kids and didnt know about the online sales its a f******g joke

I've missed out on tickets like a lot of people here, but it's time to move on people, lose the anger. The OP's post made a lot of people get them before the fiasco that was the official sale time.

I tried to phone, tried online - even just tried now and no luck. You win some you lose some.

The Usher Hall isn't the first place to not be able to cope with online sales and wont be the last.

And for those that tried 'for hours' whilst at work, consider yourself lucky for getting paid whilst trying !!

Here's hoping for some extra dates

I finally got mine at 15:00 yesterday i had been trying constantly for the two days from 10am and had to give up and reluctantly head into work about 1330 but thought i would give it one last shot just before i started at three and got the dododo's (im sure we are all still hearing that dreaded sound ringing in our ears):mad: then finally got through on my second try i couldnt belive it im sure there was a tear in my eye when i heard that phone ring and i got to hear those imortal words All our operators are busy at the moment but please hold the line and you will be connected to an representive when one becomes available :beer::j

What a few days that was so a big thank you to everyone that has posted over the last two days and kept me saneish

Now its over to the big yin and i hope everyone has a cracking night

Big congrats to all the guys who managed to get tickets and a thanks to the peeps that kept us goin !!!

Totally gutted for the people who didn't make it despite the hours of finger breaking redialing. I only got two tickets but wish I got more so I could hand them out to the people on here !!

well done to all those that got tickets, i like many of you have been on this thread since monday morning and i worked out i listened to 14 hours worth of dododododo's. then im watching a programme last night and my other half shouts through (he's sitting on the comp) and you guessed it he had got onto the website and had seating plans up!!! so
7 tickets for the tuesday night row AA in the stalls, see some of you there

p.s.sods law that i try for 2 days and first time he looks and he gets right on,git!

Morning All, well what a hectic past few days, this forum deserves a medal for all the friendly comments.

I managed to get 4 tickets for the Saturday night in the Grand Circle, :j although at times I thought there was no hope, never ever in my life have I had to endure such hassle to book tickets....I do think the fact they went on sale before the due date is a disgrace, and I hope we all get replies to our complaints, but don't hold out much hope, as I'm sure there will be loads of them!!!

It is just a shame everyone was not able to get tickets.....Thank God, no refreshing or re-dialling all day long today cos I think I have RSI setting in! :rotfl:

Thanks to everyone on here that helped us out and kept us sane over the past few days, and at times made us chuckle! Hope you all enjoy Billy in September.....he better be the greatest he has ever been after all this!

Typical isn't it, but good hubby getting you tickets at long last.......this forum has kept me entertained and sane over the past few days....I was even starting to have dreams about Usher Hall!!!!
