Oh dear gone over budget already by £7.67. Not an auspicious start to the challenge, better do better for the rest of the week..grr!!
What did you spend it on, anything nice so you can make us all jealous?Purpletea65 wrote: »Hi all,
I have spent £8.48 today on bits and bobs but don't know if I should include it as it is essentially part of the grocery budget?? I got some milk and some beef for casserole for dinner.
What do you think???
Tea

Tea, that is clearly a grocery spend if I've ever seen one. You aren't trying my sneaking technique of "if it is bought at a supermarket then it is groceries":rotfl:
Anyway for me today I spent 37p on a yogurt to supplement my lunch (only had soup and rice cakes).
I also spent £1 on houmous but that is coming out of the grocery budget so not counting it.
I also OH £2 to post my greenmetropolis parcel but I am not counting that as part of weekly spends.
So a grand total of 37p so far but I have sent OH on a cider expedition and offered to pay as thing have been going so well this week that should not be more than £5 hopefully. (Edit it was £4.70 so total for today £5.07)

Hi PP,

Well today I had my wonderful new hair cut!! I had budgeted for that so not included, then I bought some hair spray stuff from Boots but I'm taking that out of the £12 I won on scratchcards and withdrew the other day!!
So still technically sticking to my budget of £0

:j I have spent nothing since Sunday. Not just no money in terms if this challenge but no fuel, groceries, no sneaky online shopping...nothing :j

One of my lovely chivalrous friends came to take me out for the day! He bought lunch, then we went to a string of country pubsI bought two rounds of drinks, he bought one...he even drove so I could have my first drink since before Christmas!
And an NSD today! Yay, I should come in under budgetJust been amusing myself today putting my one year old niece in my massive uni hoody
She loved it and looked soooo cute
Hope everyone had a fab week, we're almost at the end!
Our greatest weakness lies in giving up; always try just one more time0
