This Forum thread might help. TBH Dont get it. Nortons is a resource hogging program. If you want to pay for Internet Security. Get Kaspersky Internet Security 2009. It is alot better and better for both novice and advanced computer users
Norton uses less resources than Kaspesky...

Norton 360 v3 is surprisingly good - internet security is the middle of the road package and not as good.

So I wouldn't have the software to upload? What's the point in having the licence but no disc! Is the 2010 version the best one to get or is the 2009 version still ok?

What happens is when you buy it and leave your email address , They will send you the license ( just a key code) via your email with a link to kaspersky's website to download the program.

When you install kaspersky you then say you have got the full version then type in the keycode. If you want to , you can download the program (before buying) and just click the "30 day free trial" button and test it for 30 days if you like it buy the license if not you havent lost anything

If Norton is such a big resource hog, how come NIS 2009 gets the Which? best antivirus award? I suggest some people try it out before criticising it. It's miles better than it was a couple of years ago, thanks to the entirely re-written program code. If 10MB of memory is enough to hog your computer, it's time to get a new one.
