Help needed with an LG KC550
I am trying to transfer music from my pc to my LG, but everytime I do it, my pc says "not enough storage is available to complete the operation". I know this is not the case as I only have about 5 songs on my phoned and I bought a new 2gb sd card. The only way I can do it, is to transfer the files from PC to my old nokia and then from my Nokia to my LG.
I don't have a data cable as I have always been able to do it via my bluetooth.
Any ideas?

I have a different phone and via bluetooth there are 2 "drives" one is the internal phone memory the other the SD card. I have to pick the right card (the higher letter) to put material into the SD card not the (small) phone memory.
Hope this helps.0 -
Sounds like the BT transfer is sending the files to the memory on the phone rather than the sd card.
There maybe a setting on the phone to change the default location to the card. If not, what about a card read/writer and just drop the file on the card from the pc ?0 -
Jon - this is what I thought. I have searched the phone to see if I can say always save to the bigger sd card but can't seem to find it. Yes the other alternative would be a card reader, I was just hoping to set it up the same as my Nokia.
Tell you what I have found that's different. On my PC (which runs Vista) my Nokia in properties is set up as a 'mobile', the LG says 'cordless phone'. Then when I select to see what the services each has the Nokia has lots of ticked boxes one of which is music files. The LG dosen't have this. I have tried to re-pair them so that the LG is showing as a mobile but I can't seem to get it to change what the type of device it is. Any ideas?TopCashback £1792.63My Little World0 -

you DONOT have this option with LG KC550.
By default whatever you xfer goes into phone's memory which is barely 14mb.....
what i normally do is, i've got a memory adaptor i use that to plug in to my pc and xfer the music into the songs folder.
