i received my pac code through from Vodafone, and it has a number on the letter, saying something like"...we still would like to keep you as a customer, please give us a call and we'll see what we can do"
Do you think i should call it, and try to bargain with them again, or hold out for a call from them?

The great stand off begins!

I did this, and got a new deal that was fantastic!
I wanted to switch to PAYG, as I now have a work mobile, but wanted to keep my own number for weekends, and the odd call. Plus I have had the number for 8 years, and everybody knows it.
So I called them, and they gave me 75 minutes (cross network, anytime) and 50 texts per month for £6.80 incl. VAT! Basically 5.5p per minute and 5.5p per text inclusive. I don't think there is any PAYG that is that cheap.
"Great", I thought, "lets get a bit cheeky here". "Can I have a new handset as the battery is going on mine" - and guess what - I have a new handset as well! Bottom of the range, but it makes calls and sends texts - what more do you need?
So definitely bargain, if you don't ask you don't get....
