I would love to be getting 7.6 meg but when I run a speedtest I am only geting anything from 1.7 to 6.2 meg, why is it different to what the Livebox says ?

Don't use the livebox stats, that's the maximum, and is the speed between your computer and the livebox, not the livebox to the outside world.

Try https://www.speedtest.net found it to be very accurate.

    Mine is this for example:

Type : Fast Noise margin (dB) : 6.8 Attenuation (dB) : 32.0 Attainable download rate (kbps) : 8320 ADSL status : Connected [0] Downstream Upstream Rate (kbps) 8128 448

I don't and never have had 8meg... Max is about 6

Just found a place to check the stats, for your Line Viper your maximum line speed will take up to 15650kbs on ASDL2+.if available.

I have a livebox and although I am on a package where it is claimed I can receive up to 8 Meg of speed, when they actually checked my line capacity, I was informed that due to where I live and the hardware involved, there is no way my line could cope with anything above 3 Megs?! Who knows!
